Therapy Session Discussion

Individual Therapy

Life can be overwhelming sometimes and we can often feel ill-equipped to deal with the experiences we are encountering. Individual therapy can help provide a safe space to discuss our struggles and learn new ways to explore and manage them.

Common things people come to therapy to address:

  • Learn to better understand your emotions and where they come from.

  • Learn and practice new, healthier coping skills and methods of coping with emotional distress.

  • Identify and change behaviors that are no longer serving you.

  • Improve communication and boundary setting with important people in your life.

  • Identify and address route causes of stress and uncomfortable emotions.

  • Improve self-care, self-esteem and self-compassion.

  • Explore and work through trauma and unhealed wounds.

Counseling Session Meeting

Couple's Therapy

Even the best, most healthiest relationships have difficulties and struggles that can undermine our ability to feel secure and safe with our partner. Couple's counseling is a great space to explore difficult conversations, rediscover a spark that you thought was lost, or learn to love and support your partner(s) in a way that they can accept and reciprocate.

Common reasons to come to couple's counseling:

  • Learn to communicate with your partner in a healthier way.

  • Explore difficult conversations with an impartial third party.

  • Explore having a non-traditional relationship or ways to improve your current non-traditional relationship.

  • Work on difficulties related to trust and intimacy with your partner.

  • Learn to have a healthy relationship after breaking up

  • Rediscover your relationship after having or raising children (new parents and empty nesters)

Support Group Meeting

Group Therapy

Life's challenges can sometimes leave us feeling as though we must face them alone, creating a deep sense of isolation and disconnection from the world around us. Group therapy provides a meaningful space where individuals can connect with others who understand those same struggles.

Common things people find in group therapy:

  • Build a sense of community with others who have similar lived experiences.

  • Cultivate and further develop skills to help with emotion regulation, healthy communication, and general distress tolerance.

  • A safe space to explore emotionally difficult experiences with others who get it.

Group Therapy

Peer Consultation Groups

Peer therapist consultation groups offer an opportunity to connect with fellow clinicians. Our monthly peer consultation groups offer a collaborative environment where we can explore tough client cases or business administration tasks together. Private practice can be an isolating experience, our consultation groups also provide the opportunity to build community with other mental health providers.
