Approach to Therapy:

I am a third-year doctoral student in the Clinical Psychology PsyD program at Purdue University Northwest. I hold a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in neuroscience from Indiana University Northwest, as well as a Master of Science in Psychology from Purdue University Northwest. Throughout my clinical training I have been and continue to be committed to providing thoughtful, evidence-based care to individuals across the lifespan.

I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and take a collaborative, goal-oriented approach to help clients better understand the connections between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Through this process, we work together to identify unhelpful thought patterns and maladaptive behaviors and develop practical skills that support meaningful and lasting change. I also incorporate a trauma-informed lens into my work, recognizing how past experiences can shape present challenges. My goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to grow.

Clinical Interests:

While my particular clinical interest and goal is to work with children, adolescents, and young adults, I am interested in and open to working with individuals of all ages and backgrounds. I enjoy working with clients who have experienced trauma, anxiety, domestic abuse, intimate partner violence, and/or depression. I am passionate about helping individuals build insight into their experiences, strengthen coping strategies, and improve their overall emotional well-being.

Education and Training:

I earned my bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in neuroscience from Indiana University Northwest in 2024, followed by a Master of Science in Psychology in 2026 at Purdue University Northwest. I am currently pursuing my Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) in Clinical Psychology at Purdue University Northwest, where I continue to develop clinical skills in both therapeutic assessment and intervention.

My clinical training has taken place across a variety of settings. I gained a passion for working with individuals who have been exposed to domestic and intimate partner violence while working as a Victim/Witness Assistant in a prosecutor’s office. While there, I supported survivors of crime by providing advocacy, resources, and emotional support throughout the legal process. I completed a psychological assessment doctoral practicum at a Community Mental Health Center, where I administered, scored, and interpreted a range of psychological assessments under supervision. I also worked in a pediatric health clinic, providing brief, evidence-based interventions to children, adolescents, and young adults to help them cope with concerns such as anxiety, stress, trauma, and anger. Additionally, I completed an internship in a substance-use counseling center, working with adults to address addiction-related challenges and support recovery through the development of healthy coping skills. These experiences have shaped my commitment to providing compassionate, trauma-informed, and client-centered care.

More About Me:

Outside of my clinical work, I enjoy spending time in nature, especially hiking and exploring new places. I love traveling, taking spontaneous adventures, and expressing creativity through scrapbooking and crafts. I also enjoy going to concerts, watching movies, and spending time with my dogs. These activities help me stay grounded and bring balance to my life, which I value carrying into my work with clients.
